Privacy Policy
How inquiries and website information are handled by Redeemed Web Design.
Redeemed Web Design is a New Mexico-based sole proprietorship providing website design services to businesses in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled through www.redeemedwebdesign.com, including website inquiries and communications about our services. It does not govern websites operated by our clients. For questions or privacy requests, email redeemedwebdesign@gmail.com.
1. Information we receive
When you request a free design preview or estimate, our form asks for your name, business name, and email address. You can also provide a business website or social link, the number of pages you are considering, your project timeline, and project details. Direct emails may contain any information you choose to provide. Please do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or medical information through the form.
When a paid project proceeds, we may also receive information about business contacts, project requirements, invoices, payments, and communications. Our hosting and anti-spam services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, and security verification information.
2. How we use information
We use information to understand and respond to your inquiry; discuss a free preview, estimate, or potential project; create proposed website designs; administer agreed website services; send relevant project and payment communications; maintain site security; and meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations. Sending an inquiry does not require a purchase, and the form does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.
3. Contact form, email, and service providers
The website contact form sends your submission over HTTPS to a Cloudflare Worker. The Worker validates the request, verifies a Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam token, and sends the inquiry using Resend to our designated Gmail inbox. The website's supplied code does not store submissions in a website database or in your browser's local storage. Email and transmission records may exist in our inbox and providers' systems.
- Cloudflare provides website hosting, request handling, security and Turnstile verification, and may process associated technical and security data.
- Resend transmits contact form messages and processes related delivery information.
- Google/Gmail handles incoming and outgoing business email.
- Stripe processes payments made through Stripe invoices or payment links. We may receive invoice contact details, transaction amounts, and payment status. Payment-card information entered into Stripe's payment flow is handled by Stripe.
These providers may use subprocessors and infrastructure in different locations. Relevant provider notices include Cloudflare (opens in a new tab), Resend (opens in a new tab), Google (opens in a new tab), and Stripe (opens in a new tab).
4. AI-assisted work
We sometimes use third-party AI-assisted design, writing, planning, or development tools to help prepare website concepts and project materials. In doing so, we may submit relevant business information, project descriptions, or materials supplied during an inquiry. Depending on the project, providers may include tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Canva. The information handled by each provider depends on its service settings and privacy practices. We seek to limit what we submit to information reasonably relevant to the work. Please do not share sensitive personal information through our inquiry form. If a project requires confidential information, discuss secure arrangements with us first.
5. Cookies, browser preferences, and website activity
Website fonts are hosted locally. If you select the reduce-animations option, the website saves a rwd-reduced-motion preference in session storage for the current browser session; this preference does not contain your inquiry.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Real User Monitoring) to understand site visits and website performance. Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers, or session-replay scripts in our provided website code. At the time of this policy, Cloudflare Zaraz, Cloudflare Consent Management, and Google Tag Gateway are inactive in our Cloudflare settings.
Cloudflare may use necessary technical data, cookies, or similar mechanisms for website delivery, bot prevention, and Turnstile security challenges. These security tools are separate from advertising analytics. We do not use your inquiry to enroll you in targeted advertising, and we do not sell inquiry information or share it with advertising partners for targeted advertising. If our use of tracking changes, we will update this notice and provide notices or choices where required by law.
6. Sharing, retention, and deletion
We use customer information within the business and share it with the service providers described here when reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to inquiries, prepare requested designs, or fulfill agreed services. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect legal rights.
Unconverted inquiries: Our policy is to retain inquiries that do not become client projects for up to 12 months after the last meaningful communication, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for a legal issue or other legitimate recordkeeping purpose. We review our business inbox at least once every three months to identify and delete inquiries past that retention period. We do not apply this 12-month schedule to records that need to be retained for a paid project, tax reporting, accounting, or legal purposes.
Client and transaction records: If we enter a project relationship, relevant contracts, correspondence, payment records, and project materials may be kept for the time needed to provide services, manage support, comply with tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Specific legal obligations can require longer periods than the inquiry timeframe. Provider-side logs, backups, and delivery records follow the providers' own retention practices and may not be deleted immediately when we delete an email.
7. Your questions and privacy requests
To ask about information we hold, correct it, or request deletion, email redeemedwebdesign@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify that a request relates to you, using information already associated with the inquiry. Depending on which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights. We will evaluate requests in accordance with applicable law, including any lawful exceptions for record retention.
8. Children's privacy
Our website offers business services and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review the concern.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. The current version will appear here with an updated effective date. Contact Redeemed Web Design at redeemedwebdesign@gmail.com for questions about this policy.
